Product Description Kliniderm Foam Silicone is a soft foam dressing that supports the creation and maintenance of the physiological wound healing system. This particularly soft dressing allows a very high wearing comfort and offers a painless and a traumatic dressing change due to its special silicone coating. In addition, the silicone coating prevents maceration of the wound margin since wound exudate can not escape from the wound margin. Kliniderm Foam Silicone is a self-adhesive dressing which is available in two thicknesses for optimal adaptation to the amount of exudate. Kliniderm Foam Silicone is available with or without a border. The three-layer structure of the product allows very high liquid management capacity, so it can also be used in combination with compression therapy. The outer side of the dressing is coated with a vapour-permeable polyurethane membrane, which protects the wound from external influences. Kliniderm Foam Silicone may remain on the wound for up to 7 days. Cliniderm Foam Silicone is suitable for moderately to strongly exuding wounds.
