These discs, which are characterised by their high aggressiveness, are suitable for use on steel, stainless steel and other metals. CS 565 is available in various grits, with different sized holes and in numerous sizes. Aggressive and self-sharpening: the abrasive grain made of zirconia corundum. The Klingspor fibre discs CS 565 is the abrasive grain made of zirconia corundum. This grain is very tough, hard and has a crystalline uniform structure. It is self-sharpening so that the discs can be achieved for a long time perfect grinding results. All types of abrasive grit used by Klingspor are produced in a synthetic way. This means that they always have the same properties and have a consistently good quality. A high abrasion is ensured by the dense dispersion, because the fibre discs CS 565 almost the entire surface is covered with abrasive grain. The high spread density also ensures a long service life. It and the self-sharpening abrasive grain zirconia corundum allow steel, stainless steel and metal to be processed with low material use and low cost. The top coat: solid resin with high adhesion. Like all other abrasives from Klingspor, the fibre discs CS 565 are also equipped with a top coat of synthetic resin. Their high adhesive strength creates a firm connection between the base and the abrasive grain. The solid resin top layer also supports the abrasive grain against lateral forces caused by sanding. The uniformity of the top coat is checked by Klingspor, with the support of laser technology and by production-accompanying weight measurements. Even in terms of the top coat, products from Klingspor are therefore characterised by a particularly good quality.
