This classic heavy-duty Suffolk-thumb latch fulfils both requirements and is built to last the outdoor wet and cold weather. This Suffolk – Thumb latch comes with one handle with a thumb depresser which is typically mounted on the street side of the gate with the attached lever appearing on the inside of the gate. When thumb depressor is activated the lever will lift the latch, located on the inside of the gate up and down from the catch, allowing you to open and close the gate.
