Kenko Black Mist Filter is an optical glass soft filter infused with fine black diffusing material. It suppresses highlight and shadow contrast, providing a soft image. Without requiring a retouch, you are able to create movie-like photographs with Black Mist. Soft processing in Photoshop can result in blurred focus and unnatural effects. With "Black Mist", however, the focus remains sharp and the photo has a blurred, gentle look. Recommended for portraits, night scenes, video shooting, etc. Kenko Black Mist filters are available in two types, No.1 and No.05, with larger number values indicating more light diffusion. You can choose according to your preference. *This filter is type No.1.
