The tread pattern was updated for reduced rolling resistance and now features the new EN-DTC rubber compound. The casing benefits from the latest in material technology featuring the Advanced Trail Casing optimized for enduro racing and trail riding.<br />Superior flat resistance The new ATC casing uses Kendas proprietary lightweight material K-Armor to increase puncture resistance by 174% over traditional aramid breakers.<br />Responsive ride - EN-DTC dual tread rubber balances wear and grip, letting the knobs do the work of control and braking on the ground.<br />Easy going The new design and material offers 50% less rolling resistance than the original Nevegal.<br />ATC (ATC)<br />Optimized for enduro and trail riding, the Advanced Trail Casing (ATC) uses a layer of SCT on the sidewalls and a K-Armor belt under the tread area. K-Armor allows for a tighter weave and the use of less rubber, resulting in a lighter tire and a casing that is supple enough to allow the knobs to flex and form under load, yet still protects from pinch flats or casing tears.<br />EN-DTC (EN-DTC)<br />Designed around the rigors of enduro racing. Featuring a lower rolling resistance value than previous dual tread compounds, tires with EN-DTC show less wear than other similar tires. With shore A values lower than the original DTC, the EN-DTC provides a more responsive ride, letting the knobs do the work of control and braking on the ground. <br />
