The jug is made of heat-resistant glass. It is lightweight and scratch resistant. Cylon can be disassembled into several parts for cleaning and is dishwasher safe. Here's how it works: loose tea is simply inserted into the filter. Thanks to the fine mesh strainer, the tea leaves remain in the filter, no tea grounds form in the pot and the large, integrated tea strainer can fully develop the aroma. If the tea has stewed long enough, you can easily remove the strainer.
