• This adapter works as a multiple socket that allows from a PCIe 1x port to get 4.
• The base will be inserted into a PCI Express 1x to 16x port of server or desktop PC. It is supplied with a high profile openwork bracket allowing the connection cord to pass to the outside of the PC case.
• The daughter plate, connected to the base by a supplied 60cm cord, has 4 PCIe 1x ports that you can operate independently. You can replace this cord with a longer or shorter cord since it is a simple USB3 cable type A male/A male (pay attention however to its quality if you want to replace our supplied cord! ).
• If the plate is not properly fed, your result will be unstable. Although it is possible that these 3 cumulative steps are not essential depending on your configuration, we strongly recommend: - Power the plate by its MOLEX 4-point connector - Power the plate also by its 15-point SATA connector (MOLEX/SATA adapter included) - Connect the PCIe 1x card, not to a 1x port, but to a 16x port
