It can grow quite tall that's why it is a very good choice for a background plant. It can reach up to 40+ cm. It needs to be planted about 5 cm to prevent it from floating back up. Echinodorus Amazonicus is a heavy root feeder. If there is nutrient deficiency Amazon Sword quickly will shows it. Leaves will start turning yellow, transparent. The holes on the leaves result from macronutrient deficiency. If you notice any of those signs you need to add root tabs. Adding liquid fertilizers when the plant is root feeder will not help much.
