Mefix exhaust pipe cement, 140g: special high-temperature cement for quick and easy installation, repair and connection of new and used exhaust systems, exhaust pipes and catalytic converters. K2 Mefix seals all holes, gaps and connections completely air-tight. The product cures like steel and is suitable for high temperatures. After curing it will not bend or shrink. K2 Mefix is water-resistant. Directions for use: the surface to be treated must be clean and grease-free, the surface must be wet with water and then K2 Mefix can be applied. In new systems the K2 Mefix must be applied to both connecting parts. In older systems, it can be uses to easily seal up all holes, gaps and cracks. After treatment the motor must be started idle and left to run like that for approx. 20 minutes so that the heat may aid drying. It should be fully cured after 24 hours.
