The JOYO JF-328 Nebulous Phase Mini Effect Pedal is here. . The nebulous JOYO phaser divides your guitar's signal into 2 separate paths. One signal remains unaffected while the other signal passes through 4 filters and an LFO (low frequency oscillator), these two signals are then mixed together. The Joyo Nebulous Phaser has 4 of these all-pass filters, making it a 4-step phaser, just like a certain orange ancestor. The phase effect filters the guitar signal by creating a series of peaks and troughs in the frequency spectrum. The position of the peaks and troughs of the affected waveform is then modulated, adjusting speed, width, and return. The phase effect varies with time, by adjusting the phase width (the gap between the peaks), creates a sweeping effect that can sometimes be confused with flanger. In addition to the plethora of rock, funk and pop recordings of the 70s, the phase is commonly found on 70s keyboards and remains a classic effect used in all genres of music. On the guitar we got pleasant phase results by placing the nebula phase after the trem JOYO molo (tremolo), something oscillating before adjusting the volume works well with many modulated effects.
