JJC Ultra Slim MC UV Filter A + is only 0.7 mm thick in the glass and 3 mm in the filter ring. Ultra slim is thinner than usual UV filters, the advantage of thinner filter is that vignetting decreases.The filter has lead thread and can therefore be screw the additional filters on it. It is made from Japanese specially treated so-called AGC (ultra-clear glass) optical glass and therefore has very good light transmission (99.5%) and good sharpness/contrast. A + series has the full 6 layer multi-coating on each side (12 total) to reduce ghost / flare and keep a good colour balance / contrast.
