A lightweight jeweller's saw with a wooden handle designed for a comfortable grip. This saw has a 280mm 'throat' (this being the distance between the saw blade the inside edge of the frame). Supplied with three heat treated SKS Steel blades - the pre-fitted blade (tn-17, 38 teeth) is for cutting steel sheet/plastic/wood, another blade is supplied for cutting brass (tn-13, 53 teeth) and also a blade for cutting copper (tn-15, 43 teeth). The saw accepts standard 130mm fret saw type blades (i.e. blades without pins at each end, such Herkules). Please note, this is a special import from Japan & as such the supplied packaging is mainly Japanese (though there is some English text & universal diagrams).
