Soothes And Protects The Wound And Allows Free Passage Of Viscous Exudate. Jelonet Is Soothing And Non Adhesive, Allowing The Wound To Drain Freely Into An Absorbent Secondary Dressing. Retains Its Shape, Resists Fraying. Jelonet Is A Sterile Open Mesh Paraffin Tulle Grass Compress. The Gauze Has Interlocking Threads That Minimize Fraying When The Compress Is Cut Into Shape. Can Be Combined With Topical Medication Of Choice, Jelonet Is Non Medicated Making It Ideal For Use With The Topical Antiseptic Or Antibiotic Of Your Choice. Indications Minor Burns And Scalds. Donor And Recipient Graft Sites, Skin Loss Wounds, Lacerations And Abrasions, Leg Ulcers. Directions Clean the wound area, ensure it is dry. If using medication, apply it to the wound before placing the Jelonet dressing. Position the dressing over the wound and gently press to ensure it adheres to the surrounding skin. Secure the dressing with surgical tape if necessary, ensuring it remains in place but not restricting circulation. Monitor the wound and dressing for signs of infection or need for replacement.
