The screw-fixing centres must be 211 mm apart and the spindle-to-cylinder (PZ) centre must be 92 mm. This handle fits solid doors 69 mm to 75 mm thick and composite doors 44 mm to 51 mm thick. For doors 52 mm to 68 mm thick, trim the supplied long screws to suit. HOW TO MEASURE PZ CENTRE: Locate and mark the centre point of the spindle hole and the centre point of the cylinder hole on your door face. Place a steel ruler or tape measure with zero at the first mark and extend to the second; the distance must read 92 mm. HOW TO MEASURE SCREW CENTRES: Identify or mark the centre of the two screw-fixing holes. Position a steel ruler or tape measure so zero is at the first centre mark and measure straight to the second; the distance must read 211 mm. PRODUCT FEATURES: This modern white door handle set features ergonomically shaped aluminium levers with integrated spring cassettes that return each lever to the horizontal position after each use. The powder-coated finish meets BS EN 1670 Grade 5 corrosion resistance based on a 480 hour salt-spray test, making it suitable for both uPVC and composite doors. NON-HANDED DESIGN: The handles fully rotate 180 degrees to fit left- or right-opening doors without swapping parts. COMPLETE KIT: Includes two 8 mm spindles (108 mm and 133 mm) and four M6 screws (two 60 mm and two 84 mm) to suit door thicknesses of 44 mm to 51 mm and 69 mm to 75 mm. Trim the longer screws for doors 52 mm to 68 mm. INSTALLATION GUIDE: Only use a hand screwdriver; do not use power tools as they could distort the door profile. Position each backplate on the door, aligning screw-fixing holes at 211 mm centres. Select the appropriate screws from the included pack: use two 60 mm screws for doors 44 mm to 51 mm or two 84 mm screws for doors 69 mm to 75 mm; for doors 52 mm to 68 mm, use the longer screws and trim to fit. Slightly undo the cylinder retaining screw on the side of the door profile to aid alignment; retighten fully after handles are secured. Insert the 8 mm spindle through the lock mechanism and slide the handles onto the spindle. From inside the door, secure each handle with two M6 screws using a hand screwdriver. Trim any excess screw length if required for mid-range door thickness. IMPORTANT: Do not overtighten the handle screws as this will distort the door profile and prevent the spring cassette from working properly. Handles must be fully fitted to the door for the springs to operate correctly.
