The JCP greenteQ 12 inch Letter Box has a modern contemporary style and features heavy duty sprung flaps and metal surround with a nylon telescopic sleeve. Suitable for most types of doors including Upvc Doors, Composite Dors and wooden timber doors. JCP greenteQ Letter boxes are sold as a complete unit, including both internal and external flaps, a telescopic sleeve for easy connection, and fixing screws. This letterbox features soft curves to create a modern finish. JCP letterboxes offer long-term mechanical and weather resistance performance. The sculptured recesses on the lower frame allow easy finger access, both of the convex curved metal flaps open to nearly 180° preventing accidental damage through overstressing of the springs and allow for easier posting of larger items. The frame ends are also in metal echoing the same curvaceous lines of the flaps. With a soft internal brush seal and an external foam seal, this replacement letterbox provides not only excellent draught and water protection, but will stop the letterbox from rattling in windy weather conditions. Once the letter box is removed measure the exact width and height of the aperture (hole) and check the sizes against the diagram. Measure the door mid-rail thickness to determine the letter box thickness needed, this box fits doors from 40 to 80mm thick. You may well find there are a few millimetres difference to your existing letter box, the door mid-rail aperture can easily be trimmed using a hacksaw or similar if needed.
