Directions Keep in mind the length of your curtains and with a pencil, mark the drill hole position of the brackets. For drywall: Use a 1/4 inch drill bit and install the wall anchors. For studs: Use a 1/8 inch drill bit. Drive in the screws and leave them 1/4 inch out. Install the bracket and finish tightening the screws. Slide your curtains into the rod, place the rods onto your brackets and secure them by hand with the bracket screws.
