IV Horse On the Hoof Hoof Grease is available in a clear neutral or solid black finish. The base grease is formulated from rapeseed oil with natural lanolin, tea tree and pine oils. Rapeseed oil is natural and high in beta carotene (pro-vitamin A) which promotes cell division and protects against harmful UV rays on skin surrounding the hoof and heels. On the hoof horn itself, hoof grease helps balance the moisture content and fills cracks & blemishes for additional protection against bacterial and fungal ingress. Natural Tea Tree Oil and Pine Oil add an effective anti-fungal and anti-bacterial properties. The grease is completely natural and contains no mineral content, so can confidently be applied to the whole hoof, including heels, sole & frog.
