Product Description This Iron colour test strip from our SenSafe® brand allows for quick and accurate testing of Iron (Fe+2) in water, at a low range detection (from 0.005 ppm). This is a simple dip and read test and you will have your result within 60 seconds. These strips can be used across industry from testing for iron in varied environments. Our patented aperture strips are unique in the way the water flows through them and detects the iron more accurately. The precise colour chart is found within the packaging and no other reagents or accessories are needed for this simple test. There are two methods of use in order to create a wider detection range. One method is very low: 0.005 to 0.3 ppm and the other is very high: 0.3 to 50 ppm. We use trace amounts of chemicals on our strips which makes them extremely safe and non-hazardous. They are considered as Articles under OSHA and do not require SDS sheets. Notes: This strip has been uniquely designed and will not interfere with other heavy metals that may be present in the water. Detection Method A: 0.0, 0.3, 1.0, 2.0, 5.0, 10, 20, 50 ppm (mg/L) Detection Method B: 0, 0.005, 0.01, 0.03, 0.06, 0.10, 0.30 ppm (mg/L) Bottle of 25 tests Directions Dip the test strip into the water for 1 second. Remove and wait for 60 seconds. Compare the color of the strip to the color chart provided in the packaging to determine the iron concentration. For a wider detection range, use Method A (0.0 to 50 ppm) or Method B (0.005 to 0.3 ppm). No other reagents or accessories are needed.
