Product Description The Landing Craft Mechanized (LCM) are probably the most famous landing boats in history and their profile is closely linked to the Allied amphibious operations in World War II, from Anzio to the beaches of Normandy. The LCM-3 version is certainly one of the most successful and effective. The design was simple and linear, but extremely rational. The large front loading ramp allowed the rapid unloading of a fully armed infantry team as well as a 30 ton medium Sherman tank.
