The armored vehicles of the heavy tank reconnaissance car Sd.Kfz. 234 series were produced by the German war industry in the final stage of World War II. They were characterised by a high level of build quality that combined mobility, operational flexibility and offensive ability. The project represented an excellent combination of speed on any terrain, protection and firepower and was able to synthesize the operational experience that the Wehrmacht had gained in the early years of World War II. You could reach a maximum speed of 85 km/h on the road. Among the various produced versions was the Sd.Kfz. 234/3 equipped with the 75 mm KwK37 short tube cannon, which was mounted in a fixed position in an open combat compartment and could be effectively used to support the infantry against weakly protected targets as well as against light armored vehicles.
