Growing Instructions Plant in damp, fertile, acid or neutral soil enriched with well-rotted organic matter. Position in full sun or semi-shade. Suitable for boggy borders or shallow pond margins with the crown up to 20cm below water level. Maintain consistently moist soil, watering during dry periods. Divide overcrowded clumps in autumn after flowering. Mulch around the base in spring to retain moisture. Cut back pond-grown plants to just above the water surface in autumn.
