Iris laevigata ‘Pink Queen’ is a captivating water iris, producing soft lilac-pink petals enriched with purple flushes and vibrant yellow markings. Flowering in May and June, its blooms bring a delicate yet dramatic touch to water features, perfectly complemented by upright, sword-like foliage that adds vertical presence and definition. This hardy perennial thrives in humus-rich, moisture-retentive soil and is especially suited to pond margins, shallow wet areas, or bog gardens. Returning reliably year after year, ‘Pink Queen’ enhances garden ponds with both colour and structure, offering a graceful transition between water and land. Low-maintenance yet high in impact, it is an excellent choice for naturalistic planting.
