Once installed¸ this host card will add SATA ports with two independent channels. This allows support of two SATA devices at speeds of up to 6Gb/s whether it is a SATA hard drive or SATA device. Using the JMB582 chipset, the SI-ADA40149 can provide a maximum sequential Read / Write Speed of 850 MB/s to 2 SATA 6Gb/s ports.
