This power inserter is designed for powering a Unicable II LNB or a multiswitch output port and the connected Quattro/Wideband LNB, should the connected STB be unable to provide the required power for the LNB/Multiswitch output port. A constant DC voltage is provided for the LNB/Multiswitch output port without straining the STB.
