Overheating will reduce the fan effectiveness, lead to damage so please remove the fan from the stove if temperatures exceed 345c (650f) The Base of the heat powered stove fan has been designed to get hot when used. When Hot and if repositioning of the unit is required, make sure you hold the unit firmly by the handle at all times, do not touch the base of the heat powered stove fan.
