March 11, 2020 WHO declared the COVID-19 outbreak as a pandemic. Three days later, Spain declared the State of Alarm. We were facing an unthinkable situation. Chaos, fear and uncertainty spread as quickly as the virus. Only achieving certainty, only by staying at home would we slow it down. Schools advanced the end of the year, shops, bars and restaurants laid the closing, industry and tourism were paralyzed and the appointment of the 20:00 hours, to applaud on the balconies the great work of the sanitary wares, became the only social contact with the outside. The pandemic has taught us to value the little things in life, and especially the workers, the Superheroes, of this health crisis. All those who in one way or another from the beginning, and day to day, have fought in the front line of battle against the virus. Sanitarios, Forces and Security Bodies, employees of supermarkets and food stores, carriers, delivery people, pharmacists, essential cleaning services, media, teachers...They have all been working for and for all Spaniards since day one. What is "COVID Fighters" and what is your job? We are a non-profit project that seeks funds to help in this situation of global health emergency in which we have been immersed. A situation of fear, chaos, desolatory figures but in which there is also hope, a great spirit of solidarity and desire to help, however, above all.
