About this item
- Japanese tatami yoga mat made from the natural material igusa (rush grass), which is sustainably grown on the island of Kyusho in Southern Japan.
- This mat has a woven motive of Sakura (cherry blossom) and Mount Fuji, and it combines these gentle colours with the natural colour of igusa. Almost like doing your yoga as the sun rises over the Pacific.
- The igusa surface will provide you with a good grip for your yoga practice and is easy to wipe off, so your mat will continue look nice and clean. The back of the mat is made from non-slip material. The mat is 60 x 180 cm (70.5" x 23.5"), and 6mm (0.25") thick.
- The fresh igusa scent is a pleasant grassy herbal fragrance, which gives the mat a crisp and clean feel. The scent is said to promote relaxation and is used as a natural air-freshener in Japan.
