With the Icy Dock ToughArmor MB607SP-B we introduce a solid, hot swap metal frame for four 2.5 inch SATA 6 Gbps hard drives or SSDs in a 5.25 inch mounting bay. The MB607SP-B is based on our particularly popular MB994SP-4SB-1 interchangeable frame, and takes over all the important features here, but is also manufactured more cost-effective without sacrificing stability or material thickness. For improved compatibility, the original 4 pin Molex power connector has been replaced by the more common 15 pin SATA power connector. The MB607SP-B takes 4 x 2.5 inch SAS/SATA HDD/SSD from 7 mm to 15 mm height and supports hot swap for quick and easy drive change. The 40 mm fan has a 3-stage fan control for optimal flexibility - turn off the fan completely (off), run the fan particularly quietly with SSDs or use the full power (high) when using mechanical SATA hard drives. The MB607SP-B is made from solid metal and is built to withstand even the most demanding environments, making it the ideal storage component for medical and military systems, industrial computers (IPC) and embedded systems.
