Product Description With a heat sink such as the ICY BOX IB-M2HS-1001, you can reliably bring your M.2 memory to a lower temperature. This ensures the performance is maintained and the service life is positively affected. The IB-M2HS-1001 is such a heat sink. It is made entirely of heat-conducting aluminium. Thanks to the thermal surface, the resulting heat can be easily released into the ambient air and the temperature of the M.2 memory can be lowered. The heat sink is suitable for M.2 SSDs with the format 22110. A silicone thermal pad ensures that the heat from the memory chipsets is better transferred to the aluminium heat sink. The aluminium cooling block is glued directly to the memory using the self-adhesive silicone thermal pad. There are a total of two silicone pads included. With its ultra-thin and space-saving design, the cooler is ideal for use on motherboards. Often a PCI card completely or partially covers the slot of the M.2 memory and there is hardly any air for conventional heatsinks. With its 5 mm height, this cooler still fits underneath in most cases and does not interfere with the installation of the PCI card. Other motherboards have their M.2 slots even on the bottom for space reasons - here too, the ICY BOX heatsink is a good way to still give the M.2 memory sufficient cooling.
