About this item
- DESIGNED BY A CONSULTANT PHYSIOTHERAPIST – Claire Patella identified a problem that has now been created with her Ice-It-Away ice massage ball which is economical to buy and easy to use. For more info on Claire please see website: https://clairepatella.com/
- HOW IT WORKS - this smooth sphere comes apart in two, so you can fill it with water and place it in the freezer. When frozen it becomes a secure ice ball, just remove the top half so you can apply it just like an ice-cold compress to a sore, swollen or bruised area.
- CONVENIENT AND EASY TO USE – forget about bags of frozen peas and ice wrapped in a tea towel. Instead, you can use our massage ice ball which is easy to hold and can be washed and reused multiple times as a soothing way to massage pain and injuries.
- SMALL AND PORTABLE – measuring just 8cm our cold pack massage ball will fit neatly in the freezer without taking up too much room. It can also be packed in a suitcase or bag for use on holiday; just fill it with water and pop it in the freezer when you arrive.
- SOOTHES ACHES, PAINS AND INJURIES – brilliant to use on knee fat pads, ankle sprains, bruises, children’s scrapes and bumps and it also makes a fantastic solution as reusable ice packs for sports injuries too.
Product description
Product description The benefits of ice on your body: If you obtain a soft tissue injury, applying ice can help reduce swelling and inflammation as it reduces blood flow to the injured area. Ice is also a great way to temporarily relieve pain after an injury. This is just one of the reasons Claire has designed and created the Ice-It-Away Ice Massager Ball. The other being that ice, when combined with massage creates a form of cryotherapy which is effective for musculoskeletal injuries. Make life easier: If trying to book in a physiotherapy appointment is difficult with your busy schedule, or if the price of private treatments fills you with dread then try some pain relief in the comfort of your own home. Our ice massage ball has the ability to relieve long term pain as well as new injuries when you massage the ice ball over the affected area. The ice forming as a circle means it can be applied to harder to reach areas including elbows, knees, the groin, shoulders and the face too. It really is a great alternative to regular ice packs for injuries and painful health conditions. The silicone ball protects your hand from getting cold whilst the dome of ice applies much more specific cooling than a general ice pack. Plus, you’ll be pleased to know that you can use the ice massager without freezing your fingers. BUY NOW and enjoy natural and convenient pain relief whenever you need it with our Ice-It-Away ice ball, designed by leading physiotherapist Claire Patella https://clairepatella.com/ Directions Directions for Use: Ice and massage can be combined with the Ice-It-Away! 1. Fill the Ice-It-Away Massager Ball with water through the small hole. 2. Place the top half back on and put it in the freezer until frozen. 3. Remove the top half and apply the ice ball to the sore, swollen, or bruised area as a cold compress. If this is tricky, just run it under running water for a few seconds to loosen. 4. Reuse the massager ball by washing it and refilling it with water as needed. Massage Use: Cover the area to be massaged in a light covering of oil (any oil suitable for skin). Hold the bottom half of the Ice-It-Away and massage the dome of ice onto the required area. Keep the ice moving in a circular fashion and continue for 3 minutes. Safety Warning Safety Information: For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes. Keep away from naked flame or direct heat sources. I wrote to Bigamart's customer support and they accompanied the process of reshipping the item until it finally arrived. I felt a genuine effort to solve the problem till it was finally solved.
The package was here in Australia from England in a few days — so quick! Something was missing and they refunded it straight away. Pretty happy with these guys.
