Product description HydroCal is an advanced water soluble Cal-Mag supplement for plants. Developed to provide enhanced nutrition for crops grown hydroponically, in inert media or coco coir, HydroCal contains an elevated profile of high quality macro nutrients to prevent and correct deficiencies in all stages of plant growth. HydroCal is a versatile and extremely economical alternative to ready mixed Cal-Mag supplements. The HydroCal dry mix is simply dissolved in water to create a concentrated nutrient supplement solution, which is then used like any other liquid Cal-Mag additive. HydroCal has a fully dissolving formulation that helps prevent blockages in irrigation lines, drippers and sprinklers and is compatible with all hydroponic and liquid feed systems. 600g of HydroCal makes 3 litres of Cal-Mag supplement! All packs include usage directions leaflet. NOTE: Cal-Mag supplementation is rarely required when using Hydrocrop HydroSol plant feed nutrients. HydroSol contains sufficient calcium and magnesium to prevent deficiencies in all but the most extreme situations. PREPARING THE CONCENTRATED NUTRIENT SUPPLEMENT SOLUTION: The concentrated nutrient supplement solution is prepared by dissolving 200g of HydroCal in sufficient water to make up to 1 litre volume. ADDING THE NUTRIENT SUPPLEMENT SOLUTION TO THE PLANT FEED SOLUTION: The HydroCal nutrient supplement solution is added to the plant feed solution at a rate of between 1ml and 2ml per litre (therefore a standard 5ml teaspoon of HydroCal solution is sufficient for 2.5-5 litres of plant feed). The feed solution is then applied to the plants according to the usual feed schedule.
