Product Description What makes HydraMed different? HydraMed’s unique bi-polymer provides ‘best-of-both-worlds’ benefits that are greater than the sum of its two parts. The interaction between both Hyaluronic Acid (HA) and Tamarind Seed Polysaccharide (TSP) is synergistic, resulting in a single bi-polymer unique to HydraMed. Hydration properties HA is a viscoelastic polysaccharide found naturally in the human body, including the eye. Good quality, high molecular weight HA has exceptional water-binding properties that can hold 3000x its own weight in water. Stabilising properties TSP is a naturally occurring, viscoelastic polymer with a chemical structure similar to ocular surface-active mucin.2 The excellent mucoadhesive properties of TSP may help stabilise the tear film, improve the condition of the ocular surface and support the post-contact lens tear layer. The difference is clearly visible Ingredients Hyaluronic Acid (0.2%) Sodium Chloride Sodium Phosphate Water Hydroxyethylcellulose Directions Wash your hands thoroughly before use. Tilt your head back and pull down your lower eyelid to create a small pocket. Hold the bottle above your eye and squeeze gently to release one or two drops into the pocket. Close your eye for a moment to spread the drops evenly. Repeat for the other eye if needed. Use as often as required or as directed by your healthcare provider. Safety Warning For external use only.
