Development 1904 mm drive belt, responsible for transmitting movement from the engine to the drum of the dryer. It is mounted on tumble dryers of Ardo, Ariston, Indesit, New Pol, Rommer, Taurus, Teka, Otsein, Hoover, Candy, Saivod, James, Norpol, Thor, Eurotech, Zanker, Proline, Far, among other brands. Once you have accessed the back of the dryer: 1. Pass the belt through the motor pulley. 2. Then, pass the strap, through the tensioner*, to the side of the bass drum (* there may be 1 tensioner, 2 tensioners or none). 3. And start spinning slowly and forcefully. The strap attaches as elasticity is given. This means it mounts like a bicycle chain. (see photo). Why do the straps break? Most dryer straps break for the same cause: they burn. You know your tumble dryer belt has burned because the ends of the strap are slightly curved inward and the inner groove has been lowered. To prevent the strap from breaking due to this cause, do not overload the dryer or dry shoes or sneakers. This will prevent the bass drum from jamming while the engine pulley is spinning and the belt burns.
