Animal studies by Hugh Bamford Cott, from the collection of the Museum of Zoology Hugh Bamford Cott (1900-1987) was a zoologist and scientific illustrator with particular expertise in the study of colouration and camouflage. Between 1938 and 1967 he held the position of Strickland Curator (Curator of Birds) at Cambridge University Museum of Zoology.
