- Very large, thick, dark green leaves with prominent veining. Leaves can grow around 15–25+ cm (6–10+ inches).
- A climbing/trailing vine, so it benefits from a trellis, hoop, or hanging pot.
- Bright indirect light. A little gentle morning sun is fine, but avoid harsh midday sun. Water when the top part of the soil has dried out. It does not like sitting in wet soil.
