Factory measured 12mm Large bore ( inner bore size )Hose. Stainless Steel Hose.Please note that inner bore size is 12mm. Opening of the nut is Smaller than actual inner bore size in order to create pressure Please don't mix the bore size with opening diameter of the nut where is connected to the shower head and mixer tap.Actual EPDM tube inside the stainless steel bore size is 12mm. Please Note. Few internet web size is not accurate about the bore size as they state the nut opening hole size as Bore size. Stainless steel Shower hose has EPDM Tube inside which is 12mm. In Fact After few minutes of having over 30 Centigrade degree of water passes through, softens up and expands and Inner bore size goes up to 13mm. Having a smaller Hole on the nut then bore size . creates pressure specially when water exiting into the shower head which increases the pressure in other words increased water spray. ( same principle of having nozzle on the Garden hose and you get quite spray when fitted. ) Having same size of opening nut hole as inner bore size is not bad but you will not get the same pressure as you het with smaller nut hole size.
