With a long flowering season, Streptocarpus make stunning houseplants for a sunny windowsill or conservatory. Brand new for 2022, Streptocarpus ‘Polka-Dot Pink’ is a naturally occurring form, from the highly popular variety, ‘Polka-Dot Purple’. The beautiful blooms bear a fabulous filigree pattern of bright pink veining against a white background. This pretty plant produces prolific clusters of exotic-looking blooms for at least eight months of the year, borne on slender stems above rosettes of wrinkled, green leaves. March to September: Place your Streptocarpus in a bright spot in indirect light. Do not expose to direct sunlight. An east or west-facing windowsill is perfect. Water regularly as the compost begins to dry out but avoid letting the plant sit in water. As the plant grows, repot as necessary in spring into a slightly larger pot.
