Apply these clear jelly diamond studs to add an extra touch to that all important wedding, celebration or birthday cake. 5mm diameter Usage: The gems are best removed from the packaging using sugarcraft tweezers or a scriber tool as this limits the amount you touch the gem. Excessive touching of the gems may tarnish them and dull their 'sparkle' although If this happens you can rejunvenate the shine by brushing them with a small amount of vegetable oil. Sometimes especially if the weather is hot/humid it is advisable to pop the gems in the freezer for a little while before using them.The best way to adhere the gems to your cake is by using a small amount confectioners glaze, a non water based edible glue or royal icing although royal icing is best used for the coloured gems so it doesn't show through the gem.
