The 231x198cm plastic hot tub base kit consists of 1 box containing 24 X-Grid panels, a 2×1.35m membrane & 5x 3mm steel u-pins and 1 box containing 20 X-Grid panels, a 2×1.35m membrane & 5x 3mm steel u-pins. Our bases are made of recycled plastic and manufactured in the UK. The eco-friendly bases are designed with an interlocking slot & peg system which makes laying the foundation for your spa incredibly easy. As the base is made from 100% recycled plastic, it is UV & weather resistant so unlike more traditional base solutions, ours will not rot or break down over time meaning there will be no maintenance or replacement costs for you in the near future. Whilst being easy to lay and eco-friendly, our hot tub bases are also very strong, when our bases were tested by Lloyds British they confirmed it could withstand up to 420 tonnes per square metre unfilled which is amazing. Another advantage of our base is that due to the open structure it is permeable, which means any excess water from the spa or rain can drain away naturally so there is less chance of stagnant water next to your hot tub or spa that could lead to potential external water damage.
