Product description
This Standard 2MT locomotive is an elegant addition to any model railway layout, perfectly replicating the strong, heroic stance of the original engine. With a five-pole skew-wound motor and sprung metal buffers, it also comes with an accessory pack that includes snowploughs, tender water scoop, brake rods, front steps, coupling rods, vacuum pipes and drain cocks.Add a 21-pin decoder to this DCC-ready locomotive to upgrade to HM7000 control.HistoryThis locomotive started its career in March 1954 at Kirkby Stephen and operated on the Trans-Pennine Stainmore route, where it famously rescued fellow 2MT No. 78018, which was stuck in a snowdrift at Bleath Gill. Retired from Crewe South in November 1966, it was later rescued from Barry scrapyard in 1973 and moved to the Severn Valley Railway, before transfer in 1998 for overhaul by the Loughborough Standard Locomotive Group, who returned it to steam in 2004.

I wrote to Bigamart's customer support and they accompanied the process of reshipping the item until it finally arrived. I felt a genuine effort to solve the problem till it was finally solved.
The package was here in Australia from England in a few days โ so quick! Something was missing and they refunded it straight away. Pretty happy with these guys.
