The Homematic IP switch actuator for brand switches with signal light provides a 2-way wall button with an individually adjustable button lighting within the Homematic IP Smart Home system. The light colour (white or colour) and the brightness of both keypads can be freely selected, completely deactivated and changed depending on the purpose. In combination with other Homematic IP devices, the signal lights can display a finished washing machine, the respective alarm state, the eco operation or an open window. The integrated switch actuator can switch loads of up to five amps and be operated via the buttons on the device, via motion detector, remote control or via the free Homematic IP smartphone app. The wall switch is installed in a standard flush-mounted box. In addition, it is possible to integrate the switch actuator for brand switches into existing 55 frame size switches. Thanks to modern electronics, the switch actuator for brand switches with signal light consumes only about 0.3 watts in sleep mode.
