Holbein Acryla Gouache is an opaque and highly pigmented paint that dries with a velvety matte finish. In terms of handling and blending, it behaves like a traditional gouache with gum arabic, but since it is made with an acrylic resin binder, it is water resistant once dry. Dries quickly and with little color change; what you see is what you get once the paint is dry. Acryla Gouache does not have the same fragile surface as traditional gouache made from Arabic rubber because the film of acrylic paint is more flexible. Can be mixed with other traditional acrylics or gouaches, as well as watercolours.
