Hoffmaestro started during the time of Napster and the first hit downloading took at the Swedish music industry. As a result, they focused on their live sets, going as far as setting up their own clubs to get gigs, and it was out of that vibrant party club scene - affectionately dubbed Karnival that the band fully began to develop.
