The SMARTFiberPro is an easy-to-use fiber power meter for testing the strength of light transmission in fiber optic fibers over six wavelengths: 850, 1300, 1310, 1490, 1550 and 1625nm. The device tests the fibre optic light intensity in a bandwidth of +3 to -60 dBm. The Hobbes SMARTFiberPro has a 2.5 mm universal adapter, which is compatible with most interfaces such as ST, SC or FC. It is possible to test cables in single mode or in multi mode. With an optional 2.5 mm to 1.25 mm adapter, fiber optic interfaces such as LC with 1.25 mm diameter can be used. The Hobbes SMARTFiberPro can also receive analogue sound signals (270Hz, 1kHz, 2kHz) for test purposes. For quick and easy application and for testing the corresponding wave ranges, we recommend using it together with a Hobbes OPTISource for automatic identification of wavelengths in fiber optic lines. The device uses an InGaAs detector to ensure improved sensitivity and temperature stability. It can store up to 1000 test results in internal memory and also upload them to the PC via the integrated USB interface.
