Product Description 1949 The Cold War tears Germany in half. Here, at the seam between East and West, the Federal Republic and the GDR are bitter opposite. Who is more successful in rebuilding the country lying in rubble and ashes? Who makes its people happier? The combined edition combines two games in one box: the award-winning "We are the people!" and the 4-player expansion "2+2". In "Wir sind das Volk!" take over the Federal Republic or the GDR. Build your economy with wise use of action cards and get into the race for higher lifestyles. Precise planning is trump. But be careful! Even the best plan can be thrown over the heap by the oil crisis or the Monday demos. Then mass protests threaten and with them the defeat. With "2+2", the two players USA and Soviet Union are added. Played in teams - but there can only be one winner! That's why it is always worth considering: what is more important? The team or self-interest? In "2+2", the range of strategic options expands considerably; it creates a completely new playing feeling: like in the basic game, each player builds "his" Germany, but also subtly influences the actions of his partner; if necessary, he sabotages his plans. At the same time, the superpowers compete with each other (arms race, race to the moon, global dominance). And the special Crux: Everyone must always keep an eye on world peace, otherwise the nuclear inferno threatens! Safety Warning Not suitable for children under 36 months
