These organic cotton fleece blankets were developed in response to requests for an alternative to polyester fleece, scratchy wool and bulky quilts. They are soft, breathable and suitable for young and sensitive skin due to their chemical free composition. The blankets have international certification: Oeko-Tex standard 100 (Class 1 especially for babies). This is renewed annually and testing is carried out on all materials, dyed yarns, banding and labels. Only natural fertilisers are used on the crops with the cotton grown and picked under ecological supervision and they are produced using a chemical free manufacturing process. This range of pram blankets comes in both baby and toddler sizes and are available in a variety of colours and designs. There is also an organic cotton version which comes in both sizes.
