The chains are all covered in Squire's protective chain sleeve making them easier to handle than the non covered chains. Measures 1200 mm length by 10 mm link diameter. With 85 ton tensile strength and a surface hardness of 835VPN (10kg) it has the most formidable resistance to bolt cropping, sawing and other forms of attack. Welded ring at one end makes the chain very versatile, enabling it to secure mobile plant to towing vehicles, other plant to fixed objects, thus preventing the unauthorised removal from site.
