Planning Poker is a technique for estimating work packages. The most common method is in the environment of agile work when teams work with Scrum, Kanaban, or other agile frameworks. Depending on the use, Planning Poker is also called Scrum Poker or Agile Planning Poker. The aim of Planning Poker is to achieve consensus in the (Scrum) team, how much work or complexity is in a task. The effort is valued in so-called "storypoints": if one task has two storypoints, it is exactly twice as big as a task with a storypoint - pretty simple.
