Introducing Helianthemum 'Golden Queen', a stunning addition to any rockery or border. This low and spreading evergreen shrub forms neat humps of greyish-green foliage, providing year-round interest as it spills over edges. From late spring to early summer, it becomes a carpet of rich golden-yellow flowers, each with a distinct orange centre, creating a dazzling display. Easy to grow and trouble-free, 'Golden Queen' is perfect for challenging dry situations and is a magnet for pollinating insects, making it a valuable plant for a wildlife-friendly garden. For continued beauty, prune and shape the plant after flowering to maintain its compact form, and you may even be rewarded with a second flush of blooms later in the season. It combines beautifully with other Mediterranean plants such as Cistus and Lavender, making it ideal for hot, dry borders, rockeries, and coastal gardens. While we supply these plants in 9cm pots, the height and spread can vary seasonally, so the images are indicative of the mature plant. How to Grow Light: Full sun.
