Product description
Hel, in Norse mythology, the goddess of the kingdom of the dead, is half dead, half alive. This is especially evident in their skin colour: half of normal colour, half blue-black. Hel is the daughter of Lokis and the giantess Angrboda and, together with her two siblings, the Fenris wolf and the Midgard snake, belonged to the sex of the giants. As the gods feared the children of Lokis, Hel was banished from Asgard. Then she founded an empire in the north, where she brings to her all people and beings who died the "straw death", i.e. found their death on the death camp. Her world Helheim is one of Utgard's worlds and is located under the roots of the world tree Yggdrasil. Hel is not only a "hidden", but also a righteous goddess. One she faces nice and adorable, the other relentless and cruel. These apparent opposites are also reflected in their external appearance. The word "hide", something hidden, has its origin from her name. The figurine is made of artificial stone by artist hand, bronzed and coloured.
